Our laboratory is a multinational group located at Children's Hospital Boston in the Karp Family Research Laboratories. We are dedicated to the study of development, disease processes, and the improvement of therapeutics with an emphasis on leukemia and genetic blood disorders. Our projects build upon basic studies of embryonic stem cells, the development of blood-forming or hematopoietic tissue, germ cell specification/genomic imprint maintenance, and the mechanisms by which leukemia becomes resistant to therapy. We hope that your visit to our website is enjoyable as well as informative.
