Bioethics Brown Bag Discussions

in the Daley Laboratory

Biomedical research touches on many topics of great societal importance.

Just as scientists hope that policy decisions impacting research practice would be informed by science, we should also ensure that the ethical implications of such work be likewise informed by philosophical reasoning. In an effort to better inform our own understanding of the depths of our work, we have created a forum for the presentation and discussion of areas beyond the science itself.

The Bioethics Brown Bag Discussion is a bi-monthly, informal gathering that encourages open conversation and personal reflections relating but not limited to the ethics of stem cell research. It is moderated by Louis M. Guenin, Lecturer on Ethics in Science at the Harvard Medical School.
