Boston
is like Disneyland for scientists. The number of laboratories, both academic
and commercial, concentrated within the Boston area is perhaps unparalleled.
One could truly make a career out of attending lectures and seminars at
area institutions. That said, outside of lab the area offers an incredible
array of sights and attractions whether one is a sports fan, a history
buff, enjoys the out-of-doors, likes to sail, is a beach comber, or among
the enthusiasts of any one of an incredible variety of other enjoyable
activities.
