Participating
in Stem Cell Research
If you are interested in participating in stem cell research, you may be able to help. Dr. George Daley and his team are actively recruiting couples who are willing to donate excess embryos which were produced for reproductive purposes and women who are willing to donate eggs for his research. The Daley Lab, in collaboration with Drs. Elizabeth Ginsburg and Catherine Racowsky at the Brigham & Women's Hospital Center for Reproductive Medicine, has obtained excess embryos from patients who have chosen to donate them for research. To date, the laboratory has derived twelve new human embryonic stem cell lines. Dr. Daley plans to continue deriving new embryonic stem cell lines from donated embryos to learn more about these important cells. He also plans to use donated eggs to derive new embryonic stem cell lines. He is recruiting couples / women who meet the following criteria: 1. Couples
who have excess frozen embryos, which were produced for reproductive purposes,
that they are interested in donating to stem cell research. Please call 617-525-8469 or email daleystemcell(at)childrens.harvard.edu if you are interesting in participating in Dr. Daley's stem cell research. |
